OPETH Pale Communion (2025 UK/EU limited edition 8-track double album 2-LP pressed on 180-gram Gold Coloured Vinyl. Pale Communion finds Opeth deepening the melodic progressive direction they explored in the preceding decade - rich in detail expansive in arrangement and performed with the precision that has become Mikael Åkerfeldts trademark. Produced by Åkerfeldt and mixed by Steven Wilson the album draws on a broad palette of influences from early King Crimson to the organ-driven weight of classic Deep Purple while retaining the bands unmistakable atmosphere and emotional depth.
