The price includes: 30L oak barrel, oak stand, cork oak, wooden tap. Oak barrels are used for serving different types of alcohol: wine, spirits, whisky, bourbon, beer. Please remember these products are made from a solid wood and colours may vary according to the age and source of the timber. Barrels that are to be used for holding liquids must never be allowed to dry out. For storage of our watertight products We recommend that you keep plastic film on the products if You are storing the new product for an indefinite time period. Please remember a wood product (specially wine barrels and kegs) must be stored all the time in a cool humid environment (temp. max +12 Celsius) to maintain its integrity. NOTE: Before filling the barrel with any kind of alcohol drinks fill it with lukewarm water for about 24 hours until soaked and all eventual leaks have stopped. Then drain the water and it is ready for use. When filling with water for the first time leaks are likely to appear and should not worry you. This is normal as no glue has been used during the assembly. You must soak in the barrel with water every time after it hasn't being used for longer periods of time.
