Talk Talk Black The Colour Of Spring - 180 Gram Vinyl + Audio Dvd - Sealed 2014 Uk Vinyl Lp
TALK TALK The Colour Of Spring (2014 UK/EU limited edition 8-track LP pressed on black vinyl. Originally released in 1986, The Colour Of Spring marked a decisive step in Talk Talk's evolution, refining the band's pop foundations while pushing further into atmosphere, structure, and emotional ambiguity. Working closely with producer and co-writer Tim Friese-Greene, Mark Hollis expanded the group's palette with layered arrangements, unusual instrumentation, and carefully controlled dynamics, creating an album that feels cohesive without relying on overt concept framing. The record includes some of Talk Talk's most enduring material, notably "Life's What You Make It" and "Living In Another World", alongside deeper, slower-burning tracks such as "April 5th" and "Chameleon Day". The balance struck here - between accessibility and experimentation - would prove pivotal, bridging the gap between the band's earlier synth-driven work and the more abstract direction that followed. This limited edition presents the album on vinyl and is accompanied by an audio-only DVD. The DVD includes a hi-resolution audio transfer of the full album plus the original B-side "It's Getting Late In The Evening", offering an expanded listening format alongside the LP. Housed in a picture sleeve with original cover artwork and hype sticker, factory sealed. Recommended)TRACKLISTING AND EXTRA INFORMATIONVinyl LPSide One1. Happiness Is Easy2. I Don't Believe In You3.
