Do not use for more than 5 consecutive days. Always follow the instructions on the packaging and Patient Information Leaflet which comes with the medicine, do not exceed the daily recommended dose and take note of the minimum time interval between doses. Do not use alongside other oral and nasal forms of medicines used to treat a blocked nose, such as pseudoephedrine, phenylephrine or ephedrine Using this medicine for longer than the recommended duration can make your symptoms worse, your nose may become blocked again, and you may get other problems such as runny nose, sneezing, itching and irritation or your body can stop responding to the medicine. Contact your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 5 days, if you have been using for longer than recommended or if you experience ongoing congestion, irritation, sneezing, or a runny nose.
