Asmodee Dewan Strategic Board Game Family Strategy Game
Dewan is a strategic abstract style board game focused on territorial influence, positioning, and tactical control of a shared play area. Players compete to expand their presence across the board by placing pieces, controlling key regions, and reacting to shifting opportunities created by opponent moves. Every decision carries weight, as space is limited and positioning determines long term advantage. The game rewards careful planning and foresight, as players must think several moves ahead while adapting to the evolving board state. Simple rules allow for quick understanding, but the depth emerges through competitive interaction and spatial optimisation. As the board fills, tension increases and each placement becomes more impactful, often forcing players into difficult trade offs between expansion and defence. Why to playDewan is ideal for players who enjoy clean, elegant strategy games with meaningful interaction and strong tactical depth. It offers a satisfying balance of accessibility and competitive challenge.• Player count: 2 to 4 players• Playing time: 30 to 60 minutes• Complexity: Medium• Theme: Abstract strategy and area control
